Spinach Pie Recipe- Light Spinach Pie

If you love spinach pie, this one is perfect for a light lunch or dinner.

1 (10 oz.) bag fresh spinach
1 (24 oz.) carton ricotta cheesse
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
3 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup red bell pepper, chopped

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Grease a 9-inch deep pie plate.

Rinse off spinach, dry and tear into bite sized pieces.

In a large bowl, combine the spinach, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, eggs and bell pepper; mix thoroughly. Spread mixture into the pie dish (make it a little thinner in the middle).

Soup from STEMS OF VEGETABLES

INGREDIENTS:


8-10 stems of spinach leaves

4-5 tender stalks of the leaves just below cauliflower

2-3 stems of coriander leaves

1 small sprig spring onion

1 stalk of celery

1/2″ ginger peeled and crushed

1 clovette garlic crushed

1 tbsp. cornflour

1/4 dried red chilli crushed

1/2 tsp. sugar

salt to taste

1/2 tsp. soya sauce

1/2 tsp. oil or butter

2 1/2 cups water.

The most recent and shocking news about the Atkins diet in the uk is while dieting Atkins, people don’t feel the drive to eat more.

Though The United Kingdom doesn’t have serious problems with weight and obesity, there are enough British dieting. About 40% of brits are dieting in some form or another - 58% have tried different forms of dieting in the past 5 years. An estimated 3,000,000 people in the UK have tried the controversial Atkins Diet, 7% of men and 10% of women had given it a try. Despite all the warnings coming from leading dietitians, the Atkins diet is still very popular among the masses. Why on earth is this diet so largely voted?

Mince Pies

Mince pies (also known as “mince tarts”) are a traditional British sweet pastry eaten during the Christmas period.

The tradition dates back to the eleventh century when crusaders returning from the Holy Land brought back a variety of oriental spices and made pies with three spices (cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg) to symbolize the three gifts given to the infant Jesus by the Magi. Originally the pies were rectangular with a place for the Christ Child to be placed on top: the baby was removed and the pie eaten in celebration.
